Here we answer some of the most commonly asked questions about shopping, payments, shipping, returns, downloading patterns, etc.

Shopping on Lyn’s Crafts

Please submit your order at, we are not able to process orders via telephone. After you submit your order, you will receive a computer-generated confirmation that your order was placed. Please check your spam/junk folder if you do not see this email within 5 minutes of completing your order. If there are extra shipping, handling or other charges for your order, we will let you know the amount when the order is confirmed.
We pride ourselves on getting our orders on their way quickly and efficiently. While our average processing time is 1 to 2 business days, there are times when, it can take 3-4 business days to pick, pack and ship your order. All orders are picked, packed and shipped on a “first come, first serve” basis, we do not expedite processing times for individual orders.
At this time we do not process backorders. If your item is out of stock at the time of fulfillment, we will cancel the out of stock product, ship the balance of your order, and issue a refund for the missing product, taxes (if applicable) and shipping upcharge. You will need to place a new order if you still need the item when it is back in stock.
If the item(s) you order are out of stock at the time of fulfillment we will cancel the order to stop the hold on your funds. If you have not received a Ship Confirmation email within 4 business days and you have verified the Ship Confirmation email is not in your spam/junk folder, please log into your account to confirm your order is still active. If it has been cancelled, and you did not request the cancellation, we did not have enough of the item(s) you ordered. Please watch for the item(s) to be back in stock and place a new order.

We do not hold backorders. 
If you place an order for product and we do run out of stock, that item will automatically be cancelled from the order and you will be issued a refund. We do not backorder.
If we had to cancel an item from your order, you will receive notification via email with the details of the refund; item, quantity, and amount. This notification will be sent to the email account used to create your account. If you still want the remainder of your order, please return to to place another order for the items previously out of stock.

Payments and Promotions

We currently offer Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay as payment options. Shoppers in the United States may also choose to check out using American Express.

Payments are accepted and processed by a 3rd party payment processors such as Braintree or Paypal. Customer payment data such as credit card numbers, security codes and expiration dates are NOT captured or stored on Lyn’s Crafts website. All payment information is processed by our respective payment processors within their secure systems.
We use secure servers and the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt all of your personal information, including your credit card data. Once encrypted, your data cannot be read as it travels over the Internet. For additional information on how maintains your privacy and security, please refer to our Privacy Statement.
When you finish adding items to your shopping cart, simply click on Proceed to Checkout and fill in the required information including method of payment. Once your transaction is complete, you will receive an email to confirm your purchase.
Your credit card information is never stored on Lyn’s Crafts.
The personal information you enter when you set up an account cannot be viewed without your Email Address and Password.

Maryland residents will be charged 6% sales tax. 

In order to provide maximum security we do not allow customers to save payment information on our website. Our payment processors may allow that practice and are responsible for the safety and security of payment data.

Payments and Promotions

Your package will ship to the shipping address you supplied with your order. If your package is returned to us because there is a mistake or missing information in the shipping address you provided, the order will be processed as a return, the merchandise will be returned to stock and you will receive a complete refund for the products only; shipping charges will not be refunded. If you would still like the items, you ordered you will need to return to to place your order again.
If we made the error on the shipping label, we will, of course, pay the reship charges. Please make sure you enter your correct address, suite, and/or apartment number.
Our shippers are aware of all parcels being shipped to individuals. If you are shipping to a business, be sure to supply the name of the business along with a C/O name.

Once an order is submitted it cannot be modified in any way. Most orders are shipped the same day that they are placed. All purchases on can be returned for a full refund, less shipping & handling, if done within 30 days of purchase.

Once an order is submitted it cannot be changed or updated. Most orders are shipped with 1 to 2 days that they are placed.

Tracking is available for packages shipped to US, Canada, Australia and United Kingdom destinations only. When your order is shipped, you will receive a “Shipping Confirmation” email. In this email you will find the tracking number for your order. If you click on this number, you will be transported to the site of the carrier where you can track your order from our door to yours. Please note: It may take 24 to 48 hours after your order ships for the carrier to update its tracking information.

Your Order Confirmation email should arrive in your email box within minutes after your order has been completed.
Order Confirmation emails contain the following information:

Items and quantities ordered
Subtotal, Discount, Shipping Charges, Order Total
Important information
If, for some reason, you do not get any of these emails, please check your spam/junk folders before requesting copies. Since the “copy” emails will be coming from the same email address this is likely to end up in your spam/junk folder as well unless you have previously accepted email from support@ and marked them as safe. If you have not received any of the above listed emails, please let us know at support@ and we’ll be happy to re-send them.

Please check with other household members to make sure they did not receive it and forget about it. Check with neighbors; it may have been delivered to the wrong address. Call your local post office and request they check for it there. If all of this fails to produce your package, please contact Customer Service.

Returns and Refunds

There are three ways to return an order:
Create a return label yourself:
You can create a return label by clicking on the “Create a Return” link, that is located at the bottom of very page.
Enter your order number and zip code on the form and then follow the prompts. A return label will be created and emailed you at no charge to you.
Email Us:
Email us at Support with your order number and we will, look up your order, create a return label at no charge to you and email it to you.
Call Us:

In all cases, once we receive the items back and determine that they are in good condition we will issue a refund or ship replacements.

Unfortunately, we are not able to exchange merchandise purchased through If you order something and upon receiving it have decided it is not what you want for whatever reason, please return according to return procedure and reorder any other items you may want in place of it.

Refunds on returned item(s) will be issued in the same payment form as was used at the time of purchase and should appear as a credit in your account within 1-2 billing cycles. Please allow up to 10 business days from the time your package is received for processing.

We can accept return from any carrier but would recommend that you select a method which includes a tracking number in the event your shipment does not reach us.


Lyn’s Crafts now offers free shipping on our tangible products within the U.S. The terms of the free shipping are displayed on the website and subject to change without notice.

Lyn’s Crafts does NOT offer free shipping on international orders. The buyer is responsible for all shipping changes and processing fees. Additionally, for international orders, the buyer is responsible for all shipping, handling, customs fees and duties. Our orders my be shipped via USPS, FedEx or UPS usually within 1 or 2 business days.

Lyn’s crafts primarily ships via USPS, however, we also use FedEx or UPS for free shipping orders as needed.

Lyn’s Crafts uses live rates from the USPS. That means that the rate you see is the rate charged by USPS. There are no additional fees.

We ship orders within 1 to 2 business days after receipt.

Once your order is shipped you will receive an email notification that includes your tracking number. You can track your order any time by using our tracking page or by going to the USPS website tracking page.

Yes, we do ship internationally. There is no free international shipping. The customer is responsible for shipping charges and customs fees.

Account & Subscriptions

Creating an account on has many benefits:
Speedy checkout – your account will save multiple addresses.
When logged into your account, your shopping cart information will be saved for later!
View and track your orders – you can view past orders or track new orders just by logging into your account.

Go to the My Account Login page. Click the Recover Your Password link under the Login button. Enter the email address associated with your account in the popup that appears. The email should arrive in your Inbox within a few moments. If you do not see it within 30 minutes, please check your spam/junk folder.

You are welcome to update your e-mail address by logging in to your account online. The best way to do this is to take the following steps:
Visit the website and click on “My Account” in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
  1. Log in to your account by typing your previous e-mail address and password.
  2. Once logged in, click on “Edit Profile” towards the right-hand side of the page.
  3. Type your new e-mail address on lines 3 and 4.
  4. Verify your “Current password” at the bottom.
  5. Click “Update Now.”
  6. Your e-mail will be updated.

Crochet Patterns

Great question. Lyn’s Crafts has written permission from the Yarnspirations, via our distributor/wholesaler, that grants us permission, to allow our customers and guest the ability to download their patterns.

We are granted this permission because we, as an online retailer, sell their products and thus support their business.

Lyn’s Crafts can not grant you permission to distribute their patterns. Please work through your distributor/wholesaler.

Yes, you are free to give away of sell any items made from the patterns. 

Lyn’s Crochet Patterns are my own creations that I either sell or provide as a free download to encourage people to visit my site. 

Many of my patterns are home decor’ or flower patterns that make use of yarn or crochet thread along with floral wire for structure.
